Our projects in these sectors are bespoke and firmly based in community. JDA’s Hub on the Hill project provides a day drop-in centre for the elderly and a focal point for local residents. We have worked on a wide range of educational projects from university halls of residence to the re-purposing of a school’s 6th Form Common Room. The practice believes in listening to the local community to ensure its needs are met by the design. Putting theory into practice is demonstrated by our Rye Hill Community Centre and the award winning work on the Kino Arts Centre in Rye with cinema, cafe and exhibition space.
