A project to redesign Founders, a 6th Form Common Room into a multi-functional space that invited learning as well as relaxing and that could also be used for parent events and visitors. Following a number of workshops with students and staff, the room was separated into different areas including bar, study, reading and tv zones. The room needed to be on-trend in order to interest the girls but also timeless, so the focus was on bright but inviting fabrics, contemporary accent lights and the use of art and accessories to make the room homely and welcoming.
