JDA has conducted a feasibility study and planning design to convert a steel fabrication site into a new residential project of 81 units plus retail on a linear site in Bermondsey. The proposal seeks to promote high quality accommodation with rooftop gardens and community garden space to the north of the site with accessibility to these gardens and walkways forming a main part of the scheme. The site forms part of bigger project encompassing adjoining sites and the design is inspired by a historical east-end character as well as being driven by economy and sustainability.
